Description:

1941 PACKARD MODEL 110 STATION WAGON
The Packard Model 110s feature a straight six-cylinder engine and a three-speed manual transmission that is shifted from the steering column. The 1941 Packard incorporated a redesigned cylinder head which allowed for better gas flow.
This vehicle has the Packard Body Number 1463 designated as an eight-passenger station wagon. Of the 34,700 vehicles built on the 122" chassis, there were only 136 station wagons built.
This vehicle, chassis number 14632166, was fitted with the stations wagon body and delivered by the Packard factory to the Packard Dealership in Kansas City, Missouri who sold the car to the first owner. The first owner kept the car until 1949. In 1949, the car was sold to second owner, John George. The George family kept the car until 2024 when it was sold to the current owner.
Today, this vehicle is in excellent condition. This 1941 Packard is extremely original and has never showed signs of damage or neglect. The current mileage is shown as 102,024 miles.
Today, wood body remains in excellent original condition. The wood joints are all tight and do not appear to have been altered in any way. The wood top bows remain in excellent original condition as well. The car has been refinished with the correct maroon finish as is the interior.
This vehicle has its original engine which has the correct 1941 number of D34867C. The car runs and drives well. The car is equipped from the factory with a number of accessories.
Original wood bodied cars are extremely scarce in today's collector car marketplace. Very few station wagons were built on a luxury car chassis and of those that were produced, few exist today. This example is also very important because of its known ownership history from new.
