Additional documents supplied by Central Australian Artifacts discuss this series:
This dreaming series work tells the story of Clifford and his Father looking for a large male pyrantie or goanna lizard. The two concentric circles represent the main waterholes at Napperby station. These two waterholes are owned by a large male pyrantie. Clifford and his father are (u) shaped and they wait at the waterholes to trap the pyrantie. Coolamons (o) with white and black ocre are used to make the traditional mens' body designs. Star-like markings (?) represent large clumps of spinafex grass that are used by the men as landmarks to aid in hunting.

The dot colors represent the parts of the landscape:
Red/pink dots: sands
Brown dots: rocks
Yellow dots: Spinafex grass
Blue/grey dots: mountains.
