TWO SIGNED MANNED SPACE FLIGHT AND ASTRONAUT COVERS FOR THE AMERICANS AND THE RUSSIANS
One First Day Cover for the 1975 Apollo Soyuz Space Test Project with signatures of the three American astronauts involved in the project which were Vance Brand, Deke Slayton and Tom Stafford, with the back side showing three postmarks for July 15, 1975 Kennedy Space Center, FL; July 17 and 24, 1975 both from Cape Canaveral, FL as a memento for the first joint American Soviet space effort. Together with a large space flight cover dated July 22, 1989 celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Houston Space Center (1969-1989) with nineteen assorted space stamps, with eighteen autographs including Ron Evans, Rusty Schweickart, Ed Whitsett (developed the MMU for Shuttle flights, Alan Bean, Bruce McCandless II, Vance Brand, Hand Hartsfield, Jeana Yeager, Dick Rutan, Karl G Henize, Georgi Grechko, Vladimir Dzhanimbkov, Paul Weitz, Joe Kerwin, Steven Hawley, W. D. Moon (navigator on the USS Lake Champlain during the recovery of Alan Shepard and MR-3), Thomas Moore (developed the "Rocket Backpack" for Bell Lavs and the US Army) and Alan Shephard (Buzz Aldrin started to sign and refused to finish).

Shipping

Shipment is the full responsibility of the buyer. Selkirk will not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or otherwise responsible for any items left in Selkirk's possession fifteen (15) days after the sale. If arrangements for shipping have not been made and communicated within thirty (30) days, Selkirk reserves the right, at this time, to charge a storage fee of $10 per lot per day for furniture and large format items and $5 per lot per day for all other items, and within sixty (60) days, at its own discretion, sell any items left on the premises. Accumulated fees resulting from storage and insurance cost will be taken out of any proceeds.

Objects that contain materials of endangered or protected species may be subject to regulations disallowing export and import into other states or countries. It is the buyer's responsibility to be aware of all applicable laws and regulations and to obtain any required export or import licenses or certificates and any other required documentation.
