  • Dimensions: 22.1 x 17.6 in. (56.1 x 44.7 cm.)
  • Condition: Rough, with front hard cover separate as well as most of the interior pages with many deteriorating edges and some losses.
    United States is a 2-page (attached) map, nothing on the back with some edge losses
    Europe is a 2-page (attached) map, nothing on the back, large loss at the middle bottom from the left page.
    California is a 2-page (attached) map, nothing on the back.
    Louisiana is a single page, nothing on the back
    Missouri is a single page, with "County Census of Kansas" to the backside.
    Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, all single pages with County Census info on the back for the NEXT state in the book.
    Then Michigan, Indian, Ohio, Arkansas, while Arkansas is the only one that's blank on the back, the others with County Census info for the NEXT state in the book.
    Then Tennessee & Kentucky are together on 2-page (attached) with Kentucky Census info on back of the right page, but nothing on the back to the right side page.
    Texas is 2-page (attached) map with Census info on back of left for Texas and Indian Territory.
    Next is a 1 page map of Indian Territory (Oklahoma) with Kansas above, and THIS map has a map to the backside of Mississippi & Alabama.
    Next 1-page map is Georgia and PART OF South Carolina, and the backside has Florida
    Next 1-page map is North Carolina, South Carolina and part of (Ge)orgia, and the backside showing Virginia and W. Va.
    Next 1-page map is Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey & Delaware, and the backside with New York.
    Next 1-page map is New England with Colorado Census to the backside.
    Next 1-page map is Colorado with Dakota on the backside
    Next 1-page map is Wyoming with BLANK backside.
    The NEXT page is also blank, as you turn it over there is a 2-page map of Montana with BOTH sides blank on the back.
    That next blank page is the backside of Idaho to the other side.
    Next 1-page is Utah with New Mexico to the backside.
    Next 1-page map is Arizona with blank backside.
    Next 1-page is blank with Washington to the back side
    Next 1-page map is Oregon with Nevada to the backside
    Obviously out of order, we have the County Census of Missouri on a page, the backside with map of Iowa.
    Page with County Census of Illinois and blank to the baskside.
    The County Census of Iowa with map of Illinois to the baskside of that.
    Then two pages of advertisements.

Shipping

Shipment is the full responsibility of the buyer. Selkirk will not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or otherwise responsible for any items left in Selkirk's possession fifteen (15) days after the sale. If arrangements for shipping have not been made and communicated within thirty (30) days, Selkirk reserves the right, at this time, to charge a storage fee of $10 per lot per day for furniture and large format items and $5 per lot per day for all other items, and within sixty (60) days, at its own discretion, sell any items left on the premises. Accumulated fees resulting from storage and insurance cost will be taken out of any proceeds.

Objects that contain materials of endangered or protected species may be subject to regulations disallowing export and import into other states or countries. It is the buyer's responsibility to be aware of all applicable laws and regulations and to obtain any required export or import licenses or certificates and any other required documentation.
